Supply liquidity
Liquidity providers fund one isolated market at a time. Your stablecoins serve only that market’s borrowers, under that market’s terms. There is no shared pool: your deposit is never exposed to another market’s collateral decisions.
How supplying works
- Seed at creation. When a market is created, the creator supplies initial stablecoin liquidity from the allowlisted stablecoins. See Create a market.
- Anyone can supply after creation. The primary LP surface is Earn — browse active markets, compare APR and liquidity, and supply in one click. You can also use the Supply button on any market card or market detail page. Account → Deposit remains available as a shortcut. You receive LP shares representing your claim on that market’s liquidity.
- Track positions in Portfolio. Open Portfolio → Supplied to see claimable value, pool share, and withdraw controls for every market you have funded.
- One market, one risk surface. Liquidity, collateral, risk parameters, and the adapter stack all belong to a single
LendingMarketcontract. - Borrowers pay per loan. Each originated loan carries a 0.5% origination fee enforced on-chain; market creation carries a 0.5% fee on initial liquidity. Both are shown before signing.
Withdrawing (exit hatch)
- Burn shares for the lending asset. Withdrawals convert a USDC (or lending-asset) amount into LP shares (
shares = amount × totalSupply / totalLiquidity) and callwithdrawLiquidity(shares). - Capped by available liquidity. Only unlent liquidity can leave the pool. Active borrows lock funds until repayment or settlement; async-settling loans further reserve principal so LPs cannot exit ahead of write-offs.
- Idle markets. When there are no active borrows, you can exit your full position subject to free (available) liquidity.
- Busy markets. When capital is lent out, only the unlent portion is withdrawable until loans repay.
What to check before supplying
- Collateral asset, LTV, APR, duration, grace period, and health-factor settings.
- Oracle type, trust status, and staleness behavior.
- Liquidation path: synchronous (DEX swap, NFT auction) or asynchronous (issuer redemption with a cure window).
- Adapter verification status. Verified is a review signal, not insurance; unverified use requires explicit acknowledgment.
- For RWA or tokenized-equity markets: issuer solvency and redemption risk, which no contract can remove. See RWA markets.
Next step
Open Earn to supply, review terms on the market page, then read Scope and risks if you have not already. To set the terms yourself instead, create a market.
